nintendo wii u price

Day in and day out you hear a lot from the IGN Nintendo team. Now we want to hear from you. We're starting a regular feature where we ask you questions based on recent Nintendo events or games, and ask you to blog your thoughts. The best responses will get posted later in the week. Who knows, maybe we'll start offering prizes one of these days. Read on for more!

In addition to games and online services, one of the biggest questions confronting Nintendo is the price of Wii U. Since its formal unveiling at E3 2011, plenty of speculation and even more rumors have focused on how much the system will cost when it arrives towards the end of 2012.

But really the question isn't what Nintendo should charge for the system - it's what you're willing to pay. The answer to that isn't an easy one either, as there are plenty of variables that no doubt will affect how valuable the system is to you and your friends.

With that in mind... here are the questions we'd like you to blog about:

  • How much are you willing to pay for Wii U?
  • What factors will influence how much you're willing to pay?
  • Would you buy the system for just one game or franchise? What would that be?
  • Is there anything that would be a deal breaker for you?

That's all there is to it! To be clear, you don't need to directly answer these questions, answer them in this order or address them in a list. These exist to guide you.

We'll pick the best entry as our MyIGN Blog of the Week. And to motivate you a bit... we're going to bribe you

Whatever reader is selected for our blog of the week will be able to win a download code for one (1) free eShop game. You'll be able to choose between Pushmo, Mighty Switch Force or Sakurai Samurai: Art of the Sword.

Sound good? Check back later this week for the results. Be sure to send us your links (through Twitter or MyIGN - see below) no later than Thursday, March 15 at Noon PST.

Done blogging? Send to IGN a link through Twitter or MyIGN, or leave it in the comments section of this article. In a few days we're going to highlight the best IGN's community has to offer - don't let us down, Koopalings!
