Soulcalibur V: The Missing Fighters

Soulcalibur V: The Missing Fighters

Catpeople, a walking fetish catalog, and ninjas please.

With the confirmation that Soulcalibur V supports downloadable characters, a whole new realm of potential fighters becomes available. Here are the characters video games world Soulcalibur core would love to see...

Traditional Soulcalibur Characters

Taki hasn't officially been announced as a playable character, though the game's producer did say she would return. Thus she makes the most obvious choice for the first DLC character. Her omission in the basic game is ridiculous; she's been in every other game in the series.)

Sure, the main protagonist of Soulcalibur V is Sophitia's son, Patroklos, but the Greek warrior's absence from the game is notable. As gaming's most badass mom, we'd love to see her make a return via DLC.

Console Exclusive Characters

Kratos already got the Soulcalibur treatment in Broken Destiny on the PSP, but we want him in a full fledged, numbered release. After watching him brutalize Mortal Kombat's cast, Soulcalibur should be a cakewalk.

There aren't a lot of options for sword wielding Microsoft first party characters, but the Covenant Elite would be a fun, interesting addition to the cast. That energy sword is just as cool as most other weapons in the game.

Crazy-Ass Crossovers

She fights with her hair, man! It's awesome. Can you picture her and Ivy going toe to toe in an epic battle?

Sure the asthmatic robot and the muppet were cool additions in Soulcalibur IV, but if we're going into the Star Wars universe again let's get someone more vicious, and with a more interesting kind of lightsaber.

Yes, the Navi are mostly peaceful alien catpeople, but we're sure that if Neytiri was dumped into a battle against a prissy French vampire with a rapier, she would create all manner of blue-tinted mayhem.
