Microsoft's product listing of Assassin's Creed III on its official website implies that the game will have a 2-4 player online co-op mode.
It's unclear whether this will be in the form of a standalone experience, like the Free Roam mode in Red Dead Redemption. Or if friends will be able to drop into the single-player campaign to lend a helping bladed hand.
