Jak & Daxter Collection to be Available Digitally
Buy the entire trilogy, or the individual games.

This coming Tuesday, February 7th, the Jak and Daxter Collection is finally coming to the PlayStation 3. A combination of the duo's three PlayStation 2 adventures, Jak and Daxter Collection seemed to be set to come only to retail in the form of a Blu-ray disc. But we now know that gamers will have some options come February 7th.
According to the PlayStation Blog, the Collection will be available both at retail and digitally. Better yet, each game can be purchased individually on the PlayStation Store, though it remains to be seen how much each game will cost on its own.
This is a similar move to the one made by Sony when it released The Sly Collection on PlayStation Network. However, while each Sly Cooper game from the PlayStation 2 era was released on its own, it wasn't done on the same date The Sly Collection was released at retail. It took over a year between the retail and digital releases of that trilogy, suggesting, perhaps, a greater emphasis placed by Sony on quicker digital access for some of its games.
