LittleBigPlanet Karting Appears to be Real

A new image all but solidifies the game's existence.

Yesterday, we reported on rumors that a LittleBigPlanet kart racer was coming to PlayStation 3. These rumors hailed from a Tweet from Canada-based FutureShop, which was in attendance at Sony's Destination PlayStation retailer event.

Today, an image has surfaced on the Internet that essentially confirms the game's existence. Anyone who's been to Sony events in particular knows that they love their stand-up banners. And PlayStation Lifestyle found a Tweet based on another Tweet with a picture of one such banner taken from the event.

Of course, this brings up fresh questions. Who's developing the game? When's it coming out? And as so many IGN readers pointed out in yesterday's story, what does this mean for Sony's marquee exclusive kart racer ModNation Racers? Only time will tell.
