Soulcalibur V DLC Announced

Soulcalibur V DLC Announced

Let's put a kimono on Ezio.

UK, January 27, 2012

The first piece of DLC for Soulcalibur V will be made available next week.

The content is scheduled to coincide with the European launch of the game on February 3. It will contain nine "exotic" customisation items, including bikinis, face paints and wigs.

The next piece of downloadable content will hit on Valentine's Day, where you'll be able to equip "fearsome" items, such as a kimono, a breast plate or - should the mood take you - various animal heads.

The final bit of content will be made available on February 28, with face paint and camouflage amongst the new items.

Each pack will also contain music from the franchise's back catalogue. The first pack features tracks lifted from Soul Blade and Soulcalibur, the second pack takes music from Soulcalibur II and III, while the final pack draws on Soulcalibur IV and Broken Destiny.

Each piece of DLC will be priced at €1.99 or 160 MS points in Europe.

That's a generous amount of DLC scheduled for the game's initial release window. Do you appreciate this optional extra content at launch or would you prefer it was delayed to reinvigorate the title six months down the line? Let us know in the comments below.

thanks for ign for the story ^_^
